DHA J7 CEPO is accredited by the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) to provide continuing education for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
*American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission (ANCC)
The DHA, J7, CEPO is accredited by the Joint Accreditation/ Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) to provide Continuing Nursing Education.
*American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)
DHA J7 CEPO has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.
*Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry's Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (ARBO/COPE)
DHA J7 CEPO is accredited by Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry's Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (ARBO/COPE) to provide continuing education to optometrists.
*American Psychological Association (APA)
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co- sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The DHA, J7, CEPO maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
*Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, DHA J7 CEPO is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit.
*American Dental Association (ADA CERP)
DHA J7 CEPO is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education (CDE). ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ADA.org/CERP.
*Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)
The Defense Health Agency, J7, Continuing Education Program Office (BOC AP #: P12034) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs).
*Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
The Defense Health Agency, J7, Continuing Education Program Office is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)
DHA, J7, CEPO is authorized to award ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
DHA, J7, CEPO is approved to provide continuing education credit for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Granting prior approval from AHIMA does not constitute endorsement of the program content or its program sponsor.
American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
DHA J7 CEPO is an AOTA Approved Provider of continuing education. The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA.
American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
The DHA, J7, CEPO is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Approved Provider of continuing education. The assignment of APTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by APTA. APTA CEUs are accepted by most state PT licensing boards. Learners are encouraged to check with their local chapter or state board to ensure that they accept APTA accredited courses for licensure renewal.
American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
DHA J7 CEPO is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.
Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC)
DHA J7 CEPO's eligible programs are pre-approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide continuing education credit to CCM(r) board certified case managers.
Council on Professional Standards for Kinesiotherapy (COPSKT)
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Continuing Education Program Office accredits enterprise-wide continuing education activities for military and civilian health care professionals. These courses are critical to DHA's goal of providing the best possible quality care to active duty service members, veterans, and their families.
Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
Maintenance of Certification (MOC) includes the following specialty boards: American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO), American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS), American Board of Pathology (ABPath), American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), and American Board of Surgery (ABS).
National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
DHA J7 Continuing Education Program Office has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6955. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. DHA J7 is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Other Professionals
Due to the requirements of various accrediting organizations, not all activities will qualify for all the accreditations offered above. All other health care professionals completing this continuing education activity will be issued a Certificate of Attendance indicating participation and the number of hours of continuing education credit. This may be used for submission to licensing boards for satisfaction of CE requirements.
