Joint Humanitarian Operations Course (JHOC)

Format: Resident

The Joint Humanitarian Operations Course (JHOC) is a two-day course led by the USAID Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA).  Through a series of interactive presentations, participant discussion groups, and case studies.  Students will discuss and examine the relationship between USAID/OFDA and its partners.

This course is open to DOD civilians, officers, and NCOs in operations, logistics, communications, medical, planning, and civil affairs.  Additionally, HA/DR practitioners and researchers from the NGO and academic communities are welcome.

Virtual Joint Humanitarian Operations Courses that are open for general enrollment can be accessed at the USAID JHOC Sign-up website.  If asked to enter an Enrollment Key Name to Sign-up, enter REGISTRATION and then click Sign-Up (if unable to access the site from Internet Explorer, please switch to Edge).  If you have any issues with the link provided, please contact USAID.

All course dates may be rescheduled if the minimum student quota requirement has not been met. In the rare event of course cancellation or date change, DMRTI will notify all students as soon as changes are confirmed. Confirmed registered students will have priority in the next course.
