This in-person, 2.5 day clinical training conference is designed to equip VA and DOD mental/behavioral health clinicians with clinical knowledge and skills to deliver gender-informed and gender-specific care to women Veterans and Service members. Topics to be addressed in expert-led didactic and small-group breakout sessions will include:
- Reproductive mental health
- Eating disorders and disordered eating
- Mental health at midlife
- Perinatal mental health
- Emotion regulation
- Substance use disorders
- Complex trauma
- ...and more
Interested participants are required to attend the mini-residency in its entirety. There is no registration fee. Continuing education credits (16.5 CEUs) will be available at no cost to attending participants. Attendees/local facilities are responsible for travel costs.
